June 3, 2011
Around 9 o'clock on Friday, June 3, Stations 52, 53 (Fame), and 55 (Good Fellowship) were dispatched to the area across from the Henderson High School Soccer Field for a reported building fire. Intial reports stated a car fire, fence fire, and working house fire. Upon the arrival of Ambulance 55-3 and Assistant 51 the report of a car fire with extension was made and the assignment was upgraded to the working fire. Shortly after Assistant 51, Engine 52-2 arrived with a crew of 4 firefighters who proceeded to stretch an 1 3/4 inch attack line and quickly extinguished the fire. As the fire was being extinguished Ladder 53 arrived and laddered the building and Enigne 53 arrived and it's crew established water supply. Crews from Engine 52-1 and Station 53 checked for extension into the dwelling yet none was found. Chief 52 had command and all units cleared about 1 hour after the intial dispatch.
