10/12/2025 - At 4:40 PM on Saturday, October 12, 2025 the WCFD, GFAC, Westtown police and mutual aid companies were dispatched to the 1000 block of General Greene Drive, Westtown Township for smoke in the basement. Crews arrived and searched the residence finding no hazards. The assignment was held to two engines and Tower 54.

10/15/2025 - Early this morning, the WCFD along with Good Fellowship Ambulance and Goshen Fire Company responded to the Hickman Home, 400 North Walnut Street for a Carbon Monoxide Incident. The source of the call was located and made safe by crews. All residents had been evacuated to another building during the incident.

10/16/2025 - At 9:26 PM Thursday evening, the WCFD was dispatched to an underground transformer fire in the 50 block of North High Street, West Chester Borough.Due to the nature of the incident and properties affected, the incident was upgraded bringing GFAC and Goshen Fire Company to assist. PECO arrived turning the power off to the transformer and all properties were checked by crews which found no hazards. PECO continues to work in the block, please use caution if traveling in the area.

10/18/2025 - Just after 7:00 PM the WCFD, GFAC along with mutual aid companies were dispatched to the 100 of East Gay Street, West Chester Borough for a report of a building fire.

10/28/2025 - Just after 5:00 PM the WCFD, GFAC and mutual aid companies were dispatched to the 400 block of Darlington Drive, East Bradford Township for a reported house fire. Crews arrived to find a small fire on the outside of the property which was out. Crew checked for extension into the house which none was found. The WCFD was assisted by the Chester County Fire Marshal.
