08/13/2025 - West Chester Borough - West Chester Borough Fire Department along Goshen Fire Company were dispatched to 222 North Church Street for an odor of natural gas. The property was checked and no hazards were located.

08/15/2025 - West Chester Borough - West Chester Fire Department along with Good Fellowship Ambulance & EMS Training Institute and mutual aid were dispatched to West Chester University of PA - Schmidt Hall for a reported building fire. A small fire in an electrical panel was out upon arrival of fire units. Incident was held to WCFD.

08/25/2025 - Just after 1:00 AM this morning the WCFD was dispatched for an automatic fire alarm activation at 3 West Gay Street, West Chester Borough. Arriving units found a smoke condition inside the property and the incident was upgraded to a building fire alerting the remainder of the WCFD and assist companies. After a search of the building the cause of the incident was found to be burnt food in the kitchen area.

08/27/2025 - This afternoon the WCFD along with mutual aid companies responded to West Chester University of PA South Campus for a reported building fire. Crews arrived and found a smoke condition caused by a microwave fire in the kitchen area of an apartment.
Incident was held to WCFD units.
