On Thursday just before 12 noon Station 52 was dispatched for the AFA in the 100 block of East Market Street. Upon Engine 52-2 (Capt P. Widmayer) and Assistant 52 arriving, crews were alerted to smoke on the 3rd Floor as well as a sprinkler activation on the 1st floor. The Building Fire Response was dispatched. Crews found the source to be a cooking appliance issue and all units returned available shortly after.

Later in the day while Engine 52-2 was operating at a Wires Call, Station 52 was dispatched to assist Longwood Fire Company at a Building Fire. Engine 52-2, Assistant 52 and Air 52 (FF C. Brogan) responded shortly after dispatch. Station 52 was returned shortly after arriving.

Crews from Station 52 responded to 11 calls for service during the severe weather.
