At 3:14AM, on Monday, February 27, the residential fire assignment was dispatched to the 100 block of Bantery Road in West Goshen for the reported attached garage on fire. Engine 52-2 (Captain DiMeo), Engine 52-1 (Lt. Creager), Air 52 (Past Chief Cotter), and Squad 52 (FF Brogan) all marked up as the box was upgraded to a working alarm. Engine 52-2 arrived as the second due Engine Company, followed by Engine 52-1 as the fourth. Both crews were put to work opening up and assisting with suppression, but were forced outside due to a failing roof. The fire was placed under control in about an hour and a half, and all units cleared the scene around 6AM. Photo credit to the original photographers.
