Tanker 52 Responds to Working Barn Fire in West Bradford

At 7:19PM on Thursday, August 22, Tanker 52 was dispatched on the first alarm tanker task force to 1031 Leids Road in West Bradford to assist on a working barn fire. Engine 39-2 and Chief 39 arrived to find a 3 story barn well involved with the closest hydrant being quite a distance away. Tanker 52 responded with a crew of 3 led by Firefighter Greer. The tanker arrived along with Assistant Chief Stafford and set up the fold-a-tank. Assistant 52 took control of the fill site assisted by Firefighters Greer and Smiley Jr. Tanker Chauffer Crum dumped a total of 4 loads of water along with five other tankers on the task force. The fire was extinguished and the Tanker was available around 10:30PM.
