Around 7:30am on Sunday, March 25, Stations 52, 53, and 55 were dispatched to the Ramsgate Apartments for the reported building fire. Initial reports stated that the entire front of the building was on fire. Upon arrival of Chief 51, the report was given of heavy fire showing from the exterior of the structure. Engine 53, Ladder 53, Engine 52-1, Engine 52-2 then arrived and made quick work of the fire and checked for extension into the adjacent units. Upon searching for extension crews found none and the assignment was held to the 52/53 units while Station 51 was held in quarters with a crew to cover any additional calls with in the WCFD's coverage area. All units were placed available by 9am.
