West Chester Fire Police Information

Who we are:

We are a special group of dedicated firefighters representing all three companies of the West Chester Fire Department. We are looking for people who share our interest in serving the community through our support for the local fire and police departments.

What we do:

Our primary role is to protect fire department and other emergency services personnel at the scene as they support the citizens of West Chester and surrounding municipalities by providing public safety services.

• Traffic control at the scene of an accident

• Crowd control on a fire scene

• Assist police department as requested

• Traffic control and crowd control for public activities such as parades, races, fairs, etc.

• Assist in searching for missing persons

• Establish warning barriers for hazardous conditions on roadways

Where to find us:

The Fire Police share the Good Will Station located on E. Union Street where we house our emergency response vehicle. This is also the location of our monthly meetings and a place for members to relax and socialize.

How to join us:

Become a member of one of the three West Chester Fire Companies. Then a letter of referral from the company as a member in good standing will initiate the application process. Contact the companies directly for more information.
