While returning from an automatic fire alarm at Chester County Hospital Lieutenant Good, the officer on Engine 52-1, spotted a large header in the area of the Henderson High School. As Engine 52-1 made it's way to the area of the smoke, the building fire assignment was dispatched to Schramm's Incorporated for a reported fire on the roof. Within 1 minute Engine 52-1 was on location confirming the report and stretching an attack line to extinguish the fire. The attack line was raised to the roof by use of a rope and the crew of the engine requested the working fire dispatch and then started making the knockdown. Ladder 53, Assistant 52, Rescue 53, and Engine 52-2 arrived shortly after the working fire dispatch was transmitted. Engine 52-2 layed a supply line from the hydrant to Engine 52-1 supplying water to the engine and also the attack line. In about a half hour the fire was placed under control and all units were back inservice ready to respond in about 2 hours. Thanks to Station 55 (Good Fellowship) for their job on setting-up rehab on such a hot day.
