| On Sunday, June 6, 2010 at 4:42 PM Station's 52, 53, and 55 Ambulance was dispatched to 918 Greystone Drive, West Goshen Township for the report of a house fire. Initial reports were that the caller could see flames from inside the dwelling. The EMS Supervisor from Good Fellowship (55-20) arrived onscene at 4:44 and reported fire through the roof. At 4:45 the assignment was upgraded to a working structure fire adding Station 51, Medic 91 and Station 56 (Goshen) for RIT. Upon the arrival of Ladder 53 the building was quickly laddered and ventilated. Shortly after Ladder 53 arrived Engine 52-2 arrived stretching the 2 1/2 inch attack line to the second floor. Engine 52-1 arrived shortly after Engine 52-2 and established a water supply.
At 5:05 the fire was placed under control. The last units cleared the scene at 6:42 and the fire is under investigation by the County and Local Fire Marshal's Office. |
