On the evening of Monday, April 26, 2010 Good Will members participated in the weekly drill, which was truck company operations. Firefighters learned how to cut bars off windows, do a search for trapped victims, and control a fire with a water fire extinguisher until a hose line can be provided.

Lieutenant DiNunzio taught station 1, which was how to contain a fire with a water fire extinguisher until a hose line can be provided. This technique requires a two and a half pound pressurized water fire extinguisher to control the fire enough so that you can pass the fire to search for victims. Lieutenant DiNunzio taught the firefighters properly apply the water to the fire area to darken the fire down. By doing this firefighters allowed themselves and their partners to travel past the fire and to go where they needed to and to continue search for trapped victims.

Lieutenant Good taught station 2, which was how to search for a victim or fellow firefighter. He taught firefighters to use the right handed search to do this task. Lieutenant Good also taught firefighters to stay together and spread across the room they are searching for a more efficient search. He also taught firefighters some techniques of rescuing trapped or injured victims.

Assistant Chief Haring taught firefighters how to use the circular or K-12 saw to cut through metal bars on windows to rescue trapped victims. He taught firefighters how to angle the saw and how to make sure that when a victim is pulled out they do not get injured by any remaining metal.
