| 12/05/2024 - The West Chester Borough Fire Department remains on-scene of a garage fire located in the 700 block of Hillside Drive, West Chester Borough. Crews are waiting for a PECO response to turn off power to the garage. Assisting WCFD were Good Fellowship Ambulance & EMS Training Institute, West Chester Borough Police Department and West Whiteland Fire Company. Engine 52-1 operated as the First Due Engine followed by Engine 52-2 as the Second Due Engine. Engine 52-1 secured their own water supply and placed an 1 3/4” crosslay in service.
12/08/2024 - Early this morning WCFD’s Good Will Fire Company #2 of West Chester was alerted for Air/Light 52 and Tanker 52 to assist on a building fire in West Marlborough Township.
12/09/2024 - At 7:30 this morning the WCFD was alerted for an auto accident with entrapment in the area of Westtown Road and Wesley Court, West Goshen Township. Crews arrived to find a pick-up truck on top of a passenger vehicle with no entrapment. Those involved received care from Good Fellowship Ambulance & EMS Training Institute. Thank You to Dickinson and Sons Crane Service for their assistance with lifting the truck off the other vehicle. The crane crew was traveling to a job site in the area and offered assistance.
12/12/2024 - West Chester Borough Fire Department on-scene of a working building fire 700 block of East Gay Street, West Goshen Township. Fire Under Control at 1:22 AM. Engine 52-1 operated as the First Due Engine. Engine 52-1 laid 700’ of 5” supply line and placed a 200’ 1 3/4” cross lay in service to extinguish the fire. Engine 52-2, Air 52, Tanker 52 and Utility 52 all made the response.
12/23/2024 - This morning Engine 51-2, Air 52 and Tanker 52 responded to assist on a house fire on Walnut Valley Road, Kennett Township. |
