11/05/2023 - At 11:00 Am the West Chester Borough Fire Department (51 and 52) were dispatched to a brush fire in the 1000 block of Green Hill Ave., West Goshen Township. The assignment was held to Engine 52-1 as the fire was out upon arrival. Engine 52-1, Engine 52-2 and Tanker 52 made the response.

11/09/2023 - At 8:34 PM the West Chester Borough Fire Department, Good Fellowship Ambulance & EMS Training Institute and West Whiteland Fire Company and the West Bradford Fire Co. were dispatched to the 800 block of Happy Creek Lane, East Bradford Township for a reported house fire. The incident was held to West Chester units as a small fire in the garage was extinguished without incident. WCFD was also assigned by the Chester County Fire Marshal. Engine 52-1 W/4, Tanker 52 and Assistant 52 made the response.

11/09/2023 - At 10:34 PM the WCFD’s Good Will Fire Company #2 of West Chester was dispatched to assist the Goshen Fire Company with a house fire on Fox Run Lane, Willistown Township. WCFD firefighters assisted with fire suppression and overhaul while Tanker 52 was the main water source for the incident. Engine 52-1 W/6, Engine 52-2 W/4, Tanker 52, Air 52 and Assistant 52 all made the response.

11/12/2023 - At 8:23 PM the WCFD’s Good Will Fire Company #2 of West Chester was dispatched for Air 52 to assist Malvern Fire Company with a house fire on Arlington Road, Willistown Township. Crews stretched a hose line to the 3rd floor and conducted overhaul. Air 52 also assisted with filling cylinders.

11/24/2023 - At 5:27 PM this evening the West Chester Borough Fire Department, Good Fellowship Ambulance & EMS Training Institute, West Chester Borough Police Department, West Whiteland Fire Company (RIT) and the Goshen Fire Company (Tower 54) were dispatched to The Hickman Home, 400 North Walnut Street, West Chester Borough for a report of a building fire. Crews arrived and located a smoke condition on the first floor. Further investigation found there was a fire in a basement storage room which was extinguished by the facility sprinkler system. Crews checked apartments inside the facility, evacuating residents to an adjacent building on the property. Also assisting at the incident was Chester County Department of Emergency Services Fire Marshal. All units cleared at 6:50 PM.

11/28/2023 - At 9:07 PM the West Chester Borough Fire Department and Good Fellowship Ambulance & EMS Training Institute were dispatched to an appliance fire in the 700 block of South Walnut Street, West Chester Borough. Crews arrived and investigated a fire in a microwave that was out upon arrival. Power was secured and no other hazards were found. All units were available a short time later.
