01/06/2023 - Just after 5:00 PM the WCFD was alerted to assist the Goshen Fire Company with a reported house fire in the 500 block of Cork Circle, West Goshen Township. The property was checked no hazard was located.

01/06/2023 - Just after 9:00 PM the WCFD was dispatched for a reported building fire in the 100 block of West Market Street, West Chester Borough. The caller reported seeing smoke coming from the roof area of the building. Volunteers arrived checking the property along with adjacent properties and determined the cause of the smoke was a roof vent operating normally. Engine 52-2 W/5, Engine 52-1 W/5 responded at dispatch. Engine 52-2 arrived as the First due engine followed by Engine 52-1. Air 52 and Assistant 52 also made the response.

01/08/2023 - Originally dispatched as a fire alarm, the WCFD along with Good Fellowship Ambulance & EMS Training Institute, West Whiteland Fire Company, and West Chester Borough Police Department responded for a reported building fire in the 100 block of East Chestnut Street, West Chester Borough. WCPD arrived reporting an issue with a dryer inside the property. WCFD volunteers confirmed the report holding the assignment to Engine 52-1, Engine 52-2 and Engine 53. All units cleared the incident just after 11:00 PM.

01/14/2023 - At 9:55 PM the West Chester Borough Fire Department, Good Fellowship Ambulance & EMS Training Institute and West Chester Borough Police Department were dispatched to the Hotel Warner, 120 North High Street, West Chester Borough for a reported gas leak inside the property. Volunteers arrived at the scene and investigated the report locating the source as a gas fire place in the building. All units cleared the scene at 10:12 PM.

01/17/2023 - Just before midnight the WCFD was alerted to assist the West Bradford Fire Company and surrounding agencies with a reported house fire in the 1100 block of Shadow Wood Drive, East Bradford Township. Engine 52-2 W/6 responded shortly after dispatch and arrived as the First Due Engine. Engine 52-1, Assistant 52, Tanker 52 and Air 52 also made the response.

01/19/2023 - Just before 4:00 PM, the WCFD was dispatched for a shrubbery fire with exposure to a shed in the 500 block of Hillside Drive, West Chester Borough. Volunteers arrived and extinguished the fire without incident. All units cleared in approximately 30 minutes.

01/26/2023 - At 8:20 PM this evening, the WCFD along with Good Fellowship Ambulance & EMS Training Institute and West Whiteland Fire Company were dispatched to a reported house fire in the 500 block of South Matlack Street, West Chester Borough. WCFD volunteers arrived and quickly located the source of the reported fire. The incident was scaled back to WCFD units which cleared the scene at 9:00 PM. Engine 52-2 W/6 and Engine 52-1 W/5 responded shortly after dispatch. Engine 52-2 arrived as the First due engine, Engine 52-1 arrived as the Third due engine and Assistant 52 held command. Air 52 and Utility 52 also made the response.

01/29/2023 - At approximately 5:17 PM the WCFD along with Good Fellowship Ambulance & EMS Training Institute and West Chester Borough Police Department were dispatched to the 700 block of Hillsdale Road, East Bradford Township, for a reported Chimney Fire. Volunteers arrived and found a fire that was contained to the fireplace. Crews checked the chimney from the roof top and found creosote had burned in the upper section of the chimney. The remaining area of the home was checked and no hazards were found. All units cleared the scene at 5:43 PM.
