In February Station 52 handled 36 calls for service.

New Engine 52-1 was officially placed in service on February 28th.

On February 23rd Station 52 was originally alerted for a fire alarm in the 800 block of Virginia Ave., West Goshen Township. As responding units arrived on location, workers were removing a dumpster, that was on fire, from the building using a forklift. Fire was contained to the dumpster and extinguished without incident.

On February 22nd Station 52 was dispatched to the area of East Marshall and North Walnut Streets for a report of a school bus fire. Engine 52-2 and Assistant 52 confirmed there was no fire, just a mechanical issue with the bus.

On February 20th and 21st several members from Station 52 joined other members from the WCFD, at Station 52( First West Chester Fire Co.) to take Combat Ready Fire Training Class with Nick Martin.

On February 19th Air 52(FF D. Jones) responded to assist Station 39( West Bradford Fire Co.) with the Working Building Fire.

On February 16th volunteers from the three WCFD stations met at the West Chester Fire Department Training Center for a burn drill.
