July 9,2020
This morning just after 9am the West Chester Borough Fire Department along with Good Fellowship Ambulance & EMS Training Institute and Goshen Fire Company were alerted to the 600 block of Downingtown Pike for the Apartment Building Fire. Assistant 52 arrived with light smoke showing followed by Engine 51-2. Engine 51-2 found fire in the 2nd floor bathroom extending into the attic. Engine 52-2 (Capt P. Widmayer) arrived as the second due engine and secured 51-2’s water supply. Engine 52-2’s crew assisted with opening up and overhaul. Engine 52-1 (FF C. Simpkins), Air 52 (FF C. Brogan) and Chief 52 all made the response. The incident was quickly placed under control.

July 16,2020
This afternoon just before 3 PM Station 52 along with Fame Fire Co. No. 3 and Good Fellowship Ambulance & EMS Training Institute were alerted to the Accident with Entrapment in the 800 Block of West Chester Pike. Assistant 53 and Chief 52 arrived with one trapped. Engine 52-1 (Capt P. Widmayer) arrived and stretched a booster line and assisted EMS with patient care. Engine 52-2 (FF M. Cotter) arrived and assisted with fluid control, Rescue 53 arrived and extricated the entrapped driver. Crews cleared a short time after extrication. Tanker 52 (FF C. Brogan) and Traffic 52 also made the response.

July 18,2020
The Good Will has new La-Z-Boy furniture in the Member area. It’ll be a great spot to hang out and watch baseball games as it starts back up!

July 19, 2020
Just before Midnight Station 52 was alerted to assist West Bradford Fire Co. for the reported House Fire. First arriving units had a Mobile Home well involved. Engine 52-2 (Capt P. Widmayer) arrived as the Third Due Engine. 52-2’s crew stretched a back up line and made entry into the building. Air 52 ( FF J. Haas) arrived and filled air cylinders. 52 units cleared after operating for a few hours.

July 23, 2020
Earlier today just before 1PM Station 52 along with Fame Fire Co. No. 3 was dispatched to assist Good Fellowship Ambulance & EMS Training Institute at an accident with entrapment. Engine 52-1 (Capt P. Widmayer) arrived and deployed the booster line and assisted Rescue 53 upon arrival with extrication of the patient. Engine 52-2 (FF J. Eadie) also made the response. Crews cleared a short time after extrication.
Later in the day Station 52 was dispatched for the reported dumpster fire in the 500 block of Hanson Drive. Chief 52 arrived and had smoke from a dumpster, Engine 52-1 (Capt P. Widmayer) arrived and stretched the front bumper line and extinguished the fire. Tanker 52 (FF M. Pearce) also made the response.
