On Monday, October 16, at 10AM, Engine 52-1 (FF Smiley Jr.) traveled to the United Methodist Church on South High Street to provide a fire prevention demonstration for multiple groups of preschoolers in the daycare center. The Engine crew was out providing a tour of the apparatus and a small fire prevention lecture for approximately two hours. While at the event the Engine responded to one call, a fire alarm in the unit block of North Matlack Street. Thank you to the children who provided a poster for Station 52!
