| On Sunday, May 21 our volunteers were kept busy. Squad 52 (FF Smiley Jr.) made the trip to Harrisburg, for the annual fire expo, giving members a chance to see new equipment and apparatus. Around 230PM, Tanker 52 (FF T. Crum) made the response to Route 322 in the area of the East Bradford Elementary School to assist on a downed aircraft that was leaking fuel. The Tanker arrived and supplied Engine 51-1 with tank water. Just before 3PM, a box alarm was transmitted to the 100 block of University Avenue (WCU property) for reports of smoke in the hallway. Engine 52-2 (Lt. Rychlak) made the response, and the incident was quickly scaled back to 52 and 53 units after finding a problem with a light ballast.
