At 7:42PM on Tuesday, February 14, the West Chester Fire Department, RIT54 (Goshen), and Ambulance 55 (Good Fellowship) were dispatched to the unit block of Greenbank Avenue in West Goshen for the report of a residential fire. Engine 51-1, Ladder 53, and Engine 52-2 (Lt. Davis) all responded in under five minutes, and Assistant 52 arrived to find fire showing from the alpha and bravo sides. Engine 51-1 assumed first due Engine responsibilities, stretching the initial line to the front door. Ladder 53 assumed the first due truck roll, followed by Engine 52-2 assuming the second due Engine, establishing a water supply and stretching a second line to the bravo side. Crews made very quick work of the fire, and after opening up found minimal extension to the interior of the home. The fire was placed under control in about 30 minutes, and no injuries were reported.
