At 4:30PM on Tuesday, January 10, Station 52 was alerted to respond as the RIT (rapid intervention team) on the house fire assignment to the 1600 block of Washington Lane in Pocopson Township. Engine 52-1 responded shortly after dispatch with a crew of five, and arrived shortly after initial units confirmed a working fire. Engine 25-1, Engine 36, Engine 51-2, and Ladder 25 arrived and went inservice with fire suppression. The Engine crew then stood by as the RIT until being released by command about 45 minutes later.
