Around 10PM on December 24, Air 52 was alerted as part of the working fire dispatch to a residential dwelling in the 500 block of Lancaster Avenue in Station 5's local. First arriving companies found fire showing from a two story single, and placed two lines inservice with fire running the walls on the second floor. Air 52 responded shortly after dispatch with a crew of six, led by Firefighter Smiley Jr., and upon arrival the crew went inservice assisting with fire suppression and ventilation. Members also assisted with filling cylinders before returning to quarters about an hour later. All photo credit to the original photographers.
