On Monday, January 11, Stations 51, 53, and 55 ambulance were dispatched to a home in the 100 block of Price Street for the house fire. Additional calls were then received reporting people trapped, and the assignment was then upgraded, adding Station 52, Station 54/56 (RIT), and Medic 91. Within seconds of dispatch Engine 52-1, Engine 52-2, Tanker 52, Assistant, and Air 52 all made the response. While enroute units were advised that WCPD officers had heavy fire in a bathroom, and everyone was out of the house. Engine 52-2 arrived and stretched a line, followed by Engine 52-1 dropping a supply line. Crews made very quick work of the fire and no extension was found. All units were available in about an hour. Shortly after returning to quarters the WCFD general alarm was struck to 500 West Rosedale Avenue in the 51 local for an investigation inside. Engine 52-1, Engine 52-2, and Air 52 all made the response on dispatch, fully staffed, and after a short time onscene the incident was turned over to West Goshen PD.
