About Us
Organized over 175 years ago in 1833, we are one of three volunteer fire companies that provide fire service to our community, and together we make up the West Chester Fire Department (WCFD). The other two stations in WCFD are First West Chester Fire Company, Station 51 and Fame Fire Company, Station 53.
The Good Will Fire Company responds to an average of 400 alarms per year which represent various types of incidents including major building fires, auto accidents, fire alarms sounding in a building, and any other type of call where our assistance is requested.
We have an active crew of approximately 40 men and women who volunteer their time to train and respond to calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Located at the intersection of S. Bolmar St and E. Union St in the Borough of West Chester, the Good Will houses six pieces of apparatus including: two Engines, a 3,000 gallon Tanker, an Air/Light Unit, a Squad Utility vehicle, and a Fire Police Traffic Unit.
