At 2304 hours on Thursday, June 28, Fire Box 5403 was dropped for the reported fire in the basement in the 1200 block of Ravens Lane. Engine 54-1 arrived at 2313 hours and reported smoke showing from the alpha side of a two story single family dwelling. Tower 54 arrived shortly after, followed closely by Engine 52-2 (Capt. DiMeo). Engine 54-1's crew found a small fire in the basement with some minor extension. Engine 52-2's crew assisted with ventilation and overhaul before clearing the scene approximately an hour after arrival. Photo credit to Anthony Klucznik.
