At 1323 hours, Engine Company 52, Rescue Company 53, Ambulance 55, and Medic 91 were alerted to Phoenixville Pike and the Route 322 By-Pass for the accident reported with entrapment. Officers from the West Goshen Police Department arrived, reporting one vehicle on it's side with one subject trapped. Engine 52-1 (FF Smiley Jr.) and Rescue 53 arrived simultaneously and the crews went to work, the Engine crew stretching a 200' handline for hazard control, and the Rescue crew going inservice performing a roof removal. The victim was extricated in approximately 25 minutes and all units were clear with in the hour.
