Full Company Response to Working Residential Fire in the 53 Local

At 13:06 on Sunday, July 9, the West Chester Fire Department and Ambulance 55 (GFAC) were alerted to the 900 block of Norwood Road in Westtown Township for the reported house on fire. Engine 51-2, Engine 51-1, Ladder 53, and Engine 52-2 (FF Smiley Jr.) all marked up as Westtown-East Goshen Police Department officer's were arriving reporting fire from the roof. Ladder 53 arrived and confirmed the working fire, as Engine 52-1 (Capt. DiMeo) made the response, followed by Air 52 (FF Brogan), Squad 52 (FF Axelrod), and Tanker 52 (FF Widmayer). Engine Company 52 arrived as the third and fourth due Engines and the crews went to work assisting with locating and extinguishing all fire. All units were clear of the fireground at approximately 5PM.
