At 1919 on July 27, 2012, Air 52 of the Good Will Fire Company was dispatched along with Ladder and Engine 53 (WCFD Fame) and Engine 6-1 (West Whiteland) as the Working Fire Dispatch to a house fire in the 1200 block of Cavalier Lane in West Goshen. The Goshen Fire Company (Station 54 and 56) was dispatched to the same location ten minutes prior for the report of a house on fire. Assistant 54 arrived and confirmed smoke from the roof. Air 52 responded with a crew of 5 firefighters three minutes after dispatch, arriving on scene minutes later. Assistant 51 arrived on scene and joined with Good Will Firefighters. Goshen crews had a line stretched into the structure but had not located the fire. The crew from Air 52 was sent to the roof to find the fire, and located an area of discolored siding on the "D" side of the structure between the second floor and attached garage. Air 52 crews quickly opened up the siding, exposed the fire, and soon had fire showing from their location. Air 52 crews coordinated with interior crews about the fire location, and the fire was quickly knocked from the inside. Further crews from Ladder 53 and Ladder 56 arrived on the roof and worked with 52 crews to open up the "D" side to check for further extension. The Air 52 crew assisted units with cleanup on the fire ground before going available.
