The Good Will Fire Company kept busy in the month of June, running twice to the Longwood local for the RIT (Rapid Intervention Team) assignment. The first RIT call was on June 3rd for the working house fire, Engine 52-1 responded quickly with 5 firefighters, followed by Air 52 with 4 firefighters. The second RIT assignment was on June 13th for the working building fire at Super Fresh. Engine 52-1 quickly responded with 4 firefighters followed by Air 52 with 3 firefighters. On June 8th the Good Will responded to the 54 box for the reported apartment building fire, both engine's from 52 responded within 4 minutes of dispatch, it was found to be burnt food and the assignment was returned. On June 11th, Air 52 was called to assist Stations 51 and 53 on the house fire assignment to fill cylinders on the scene, it returned home about an hour later. On June 22nd, Air 52 was dispatched to assist Coatesville City units onscene of a 2-Alarm Working Fire at which the Air truck filled multiple cylinders and the cascade bottles on Rescue 33. On June 28th, Stations 52, 53, and 55 were dispatched to the area of Union and Matlack for the smoke investigation outside. Engine 52-2 staffed by Captain Good, Lt. Creager, Lt. McClure (Station 51), and FF Smiley Jr. quickly made the response and found a dust collector on fire to the rear of 250 South Franklin Street. Crews made a quick knock down on the fire and all units were available within an hour and a half.
